What is a Co-op?

We are a Co-op organization governed by the parents.  It's program involves both the children and parents actively learning with the assistance of a qualified pre-school teacher.

Program and Philosophy

Coldwater Cooperative Nursery School (CCNS) provides a stimulating program which supports the child while encouraging him/her to become an independent and creative individual.  Each child will experience a positive environment where learning is both an enjoyable and rewarding experience.  Each child will be encouraged to develop his/her potential at their own individul pace.

The qualified teachers of the CCNS, provide a unique atmosphere.  Our teachers possess diplomas in the field of Early Childhood Education or an equivalent degree/diploma or experience.

Through varied play experiences and with the guidance of our teaching staff, the children will both enhance and stimulate the following areas of their growth and development;

Eligibility

The children range in age from 2 to 5 years.  CCNS has a diapering policy: therefore, children who are not yet able to toilet independently can enroll in the program.
